Question list

What do I ask before I commit?

Use these prompts with a service you found elsewhere. Write the answers in your own notes, then look for any gaps.

Take this list to the conversation

  • Who will assess me?

Ask for the name, role and state license record of the person responsible for the visit.

  • How can we talk things through?

Ask whether you speak by phone or video, or fill in health questions online for someone to read later. Ask how to send your own questions and get a reply.

  • What exact product is being discussed?

Ask for the drug name, brand if there is one, how it is supplied and why that product was chosen.

  • Which pharmacy will send it?

Ask for the actual pharmacy name so you can check its state record.

  • What does the quote cover?

Request a quote with separate lines for medicine, visits, tests, delivery and follow-up.

  • What changes after an offer ends?

Ask for the later price, billing dates, cancellation terms and refund terms in writing.

  • Who answers after the visit?

Ask how to send a question, who replies and what to do while waiting.

  • What if the plan changes?

Ask what happens if no prescription is issued, the medicine is hard to get or care moves in person.

A visit needs room for questions

Patients need a route for questions after their appointment, says the national group representing state medical boards in its May 2026 guidance.

This is guidance for boards; the rules enforced in each state can differ.

After the answers come back

Mark each answer as clear, missing or needing a check. A vague answer is a reason to ask again. Compare the replies on the same points, rather than comparing how friendly the sales page feels.
